CHANGING HABITS TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Ingredients for the crumble bars: rolled oats, all purpose flour, salt, baking powder, brown sugar, coconut oil, vanilla, homemade raspberry preserves, fresh raspberries
Ingredients for the homemade raspberry preserves: fresh raspberries, cane sugar, lemon juice
Please note that the substitutes are used to eliminate the need to buy more ingredients I will only use once or twice. This reduces the amount of food wasted during these bake sales. In addition, all compostable materials, like banana peels and lemon skins, are composted in my backyard compost system, and minimal waste is made during these processes.
The Packaging
The boxes are made using environmentally friendly processes. The boxes are made of natural brown cardboard, containing 30% less fiber than other box materials. The plastic window is cellulose based (plant material) instead of being petroleum based, which is common in other plastics.
I hope everyone is staying safe during this extended quarantine. I do not have COVID, and I have not been exposing myself to COVID, but I will be wearing a mask and washing my hands while making and packaging any baked goods to ensure everyone's safety.
